Hello, Janeive! I am also a kindergarten teacher at a Title I school. The teaching program I am currently in requires a course specific to reading instruction and a state test, so I think that is a wonderful goal to have.
ReplyDeleteYour lesson is well thought out and attainable for kindergartners. My students always enjoy community helpers week and I like your incorporation of technology to this unit. I can tell you are considering a wide range of students with the differentiated instruction you include in the third paragraph.
Welcome to class Janeive, I like your lesson on sharing job experiences with a young age group. This is a great way to get students involved with a real-world experience. I think your accommodations are well suited for your younger level learners. How amazing is it to have the technology to zoom or video individuals into our classroom in a cost and timely effective way that benefits student's learning. Great lesson!
